Served as a consultant and co-author with Ataur Rahman, Tom Marshall and Jane Preyer in a large study titled “Nutritional Status of Dhaka Slum Population” as part of the “Urban Livelihood Study” jointly conducted by Institute of Development Policy Analysis and Advocacy (IDPAA), Bangladesh, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and University of Bath, UK (2001-2002).
Served as a consultant of Bangladesh Breastfeeding Foundation (BBF) to develop training curriculum, training manual, monitoring method, tools and monitoring database software for Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative and Breast-milk Substitute Code.
